Hugo Yasky lashed out at Javier Milei: “He gladly offered to be a pet of the White House”

The national deputy of Unión por la Patria and general secretary of the CTA , Hugo Yasky , referred to the Criptogate scandal and assured that President Javier Milei is considered “a swindler” at an international level. In addition, he said that Donald Trump supports him because he needs “a buffer government” in South America.
“It is an absolutely unacceptable fact for democracy to have a President who is accused of being a scammer throughout the world,” he said in an interview with Radio Splendid – 990. Along the same lines, he added: “Such a show, Elon Musk acting as a jester with a chainsaw, unbridled, on a day of national mourning, does not cover up the embarrassment that means that today for the majority of the world's heads of state, Milei is merely a scammer.”
Yasky also analyzed the support that the American president gave to the libertarian and affirmed that his support responds to geopolitical interests . “Trump needs a buffer government in our region, an unconditional government. He has a region that is slipping out of his hands,” he explained.
The congressman compared the relationship between Milei and Trump with a phrase attributed to a former North American president about a Latin American leader: "He recognized that he was an idiot, but he said 'he is our idiot', that is why we are going to defend him," Yasky quoted.
In this regard, he said that the Argentine president "willingly offers to act as a puppet and a kind of mascot of the White House," which would explain the support he receives from powerful sectors in the United States.
Yasky also pointed to the Justice for its inaction in the face of the financial scandal involving the “Viva la Libertad” project, a cryptocurrency promoted by Milei and his entourage that collapsed, generating millionaire losses . “The economic, financial power, the established power, the institutions of the powerful want Milei to be able to surf this enormous wave unleashed by her fraud committed in flagrante delicto in the eyes of everyone,” the union leader denounced.
Along the same lines, he criticized the impunity with which, in his view, the government acts and warned that "they want to consolidate Javier Milei's leadership at any price."
In view of the opening of ordinary sessions on March 1 , Yasky anticipated that the presidential speech will be full of insults and attacks against the opposition . “The first tweet that the President put out, when he was caught red-handed committing this scam, was to react by insulting the opposition: 'they are rats, we are going to kick their asses out.' That was the first reaction,” he recalled.
Based on this background, the legislator considered that "the speech will be in tune with that and it will be a deplorable spectacle."
In another part of the interview, Yasky supported the governor of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof , after he announced the launch of his own space within Peronism. “It will enrich the debate within Peronism,” said the deputy.
He also described the provincial leader as “a hope for many people” and highlighted his ability to connect with the electorate: “He has a closeness to the common man that gives him another quality within the political movement, and he has new ideas.”
Finally, he stressed that the governor's commitment strengthens the unity of Peronism and reaffirmed his loyalty to Cristina Kirchner . "Cristina knows that Kicillof will unconditionally be part of Peronism. But we have to redefine the direction of the opposition, show a way out for the future and make people feel that they are represented," he concluded.
